Pro-Ject and WiiM Streaming Bundle at Vinyl Sound Toronto Canada

The Pro-Ject and WiiM Streaming Bundle brings vinyl playback and wireless music streaming together at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada, combining the Pro-Ject E1.2 turntable with a factory-fitted Pick it MM E cartridge, the WiiM Amp streaming amplifier, and Ultralink pre-terminated speaker wire. Stream from Spotify, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, and 20 or more services, then add your own passive speakers to build the system around your listening preferences. Speakers and a separate MM phono preamp are not included. The standard E1.2 requires an external phono preamp between the turntable and the WiiM Amp's RCA line input for vinyl playback.

Pro-Ject E1.2 Turntable with Pick it MM E Cartridge

The Pro-Ject E1.2 is an entry-level belt-drive turntable handmade in Europe, with a precision-balanced 730g die-cast aluminium platter, a glass-fibre-reinforced ABS sub-platter, an 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm, and a stiff carbon-reinforced headshell. The factory-fitted Pick it MM E moving magnet cartridge uses a conical diamond stylus, with tracking force and anti-skating adjusted by Pro-Ject technicians before delivery. Electronic speed control switches between 33 and 45 RPM without moving the belt by hand. The included acrylic dust cover, 1.23m phono cable, 7-inch single adapter, and power supply complete the turntable package. This bundle uses the standard E1.2, not the E1.2 Phono: a separate MM phono preamp is needed to connect it to the WiiM Amp's line-level RCA input.

WiiM Amp Streaming Amplifier

The WiiM Amp delivers 60 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 120 watts per channel at 4 ohms to your own compatible passive speakers. The WiiM Amp is a Class D streaming amplifier using a Texas Instruments TPA3255 amplifier stage and ESS Sabre ES9018 DAC for 24-bit/192kHz hi-res audio playback, with AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music Cast, and DLNA/UPnP streaming protocols, plus HDMI ARC for TV audio, optical input, RCA line input for the turntable through an external phono preamp, USB storage input, and a subwoofer output with adjustable crossover from 30 to 200 Hz. The included WiiM Voice Remote and the WiiM Home app for iOS and Android provide full control of streaming, volume, EQ, and multi-room grouping with other WiiM devices.

Ultralink Pre-terminated Speaker Wire

The included Ultralink pre-terminated speaker wire connects the WiiM Amp to your own passive speakers. It completes the amplifier-to-speaker connection without adding speakers to the bundle, giving you the freedom to choose speakers that suit your room and listening preferences.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is included in the Pro-Ject and WiiM Streaming Bundle?

The bundle includes the Pro-Ject E1.2 belt-drive turntable with factory-fitted Pick it MM E cartridge, the WiiM Amp streaming amplifier, and Ultralink pre-terminated speaker wire. Speakers are not included. Add your own compatible passive speakers for streaming playback and a separate MM phono preamp to connect the standard E1.2 for vinyl playback.

Do I need a separate phono preamp for the Pro-Ject E1.2 in this bundle?

Yes. The standard Pro-Ject E1.2 does not include a built-in phono preamp. Connect its output to an external MM phono preamp, then connect the preamp's line-level output to the WiiM Amp's RCA input. The E1.2 Phono is a separate version with a built-in switchable phono preamp; it is not the model listed in this bundle.

What streaming services does the WiiM Amp support?

The WiiM Amp supports AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Roon, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Amazon Music Cast, and DLNA/UPnP, plus 20 or more services accessible directly within the WiiM Home app for iOS and Android, including Amazon Music, Deezer, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, and others.

How does this bundle compare to an all-in-one speaker or a streaming amplifier on its own?

This bundle combines a separate turntable, streaming amplifier, and pre-terminated speaker wire rather than an all-in-one speaker system. You choose your own passive speakers and add a separate MM phono preamp for vinyl playback. Compared with a streaming amplifier on its own, it also includes the Pro-Ject E1.2 turntable and speaker wire, giving you a starting point for a system with both records and wireless streaming and the flexibility to upgrade individual components over time.

Can I expand this system with additional WiiM devices for multi-room audio?

Yes. The WiiM Amp integrates with the WiiM Home ecosystem and can be grouped with WiiM Mini, WiiM Pro, WiiM Pro Plus, and WiiM Amp units in other rooms for synchronized multi-room playback managed through the WiiM Home app. It also works within AirPlay 2 and Amazon Alexa multi-room groups.
