The Grado Signature HP100 SE is a contemporary tribute to the trailblazing HP1, redesigned from the ground up and heralding a new design direction for Grado Labs. Hand-assembled at Grado's Brooklyn headquarters, it pairs an all-new 52mm dynamic driver with individually machined aluminum housings, a redesigned headband, and, for the first time on a Grado model, detachable cables. The result is a refined, musically correct open-back headphone that honours Grado's illustrious past while looking firmly forward. The HP100 SE is available now at Vinyl Sound in Canada.

At the heart of the HP100 SE is a completely new speaker design: a 52mm driver with a paper composite cone, a high-flux rare-earth magnetic circuit, and a lightweight copper-plated aluminum voice coil for excellent dynamics, transient response, and a refined sense of space and soundstage. The housings are machined from specially treated aluminum in a space grey finish with the name engraved on the face. A new headband adds 50% more padding over previous Grado designs with a stainless steel band and adjustable height rods, and the detachable 12-conductor braided cable terminates in a 6.3mm plug with 4-pin mini XLR connectors at each housing.
