Handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas, the Klipsch Rebellion is a premium Heritage Series bookshelf loudspeaker that revives Paul W. Klipsch's original 1958 two-way design, known as the H8. It pairs a K-81-EP 8-inch woofer with a K-702 high-frequency driver on a Tractrix horn, delivering immersive, low-distortion sound with deep bass and crystal-clear highs from a compact cabinet. The original Heritage bookshelf

The Rebellion is Paul W. Klipsch's original bookshelf loudspeaker design, engineered for low distortion and high performance. Introduced in 1958 as the H8, a smaller version of the legendary Heresy, it was envisioned as a center speaker between two Klipschorns in a three-channel stereo array. Now it returns to claim its place as the original Heritage Series bookshelf speaker.

Heritage engineering

The two-way vented enclosure uses a K-81-EP 8-inch woofer and a K-702 high-frequency driver on a K-703 Tractrix horn with Mumps technology, crossed over at 715 Hz. A rear Tractrix flare port controls air movement and keeps port noise low during playback. Controlled dispersion delivers 90-degree horizontal coverage from 600 Hz to 20 kHz and 60-degree vertical coverage from 2.6 kHz to 20 kHz for a wide, accurate soundstage.

American craftsmanship

Each cabinet is built in Hope, Arkansas from 18 mm medium-density fiberboard and finished with book-matched real wood veneers, real cloth grilles, a solid input panel, and a logo badge. Available in Black Ash, Walnut, and 80th Anniversary finishes, and backed by a 10-year warranty. The Rebellion pairs perfectly with Klipsch KS-24 stands for two-channel stereo or Heritage home theatre systems.
