It uses a high-quality, low-resonance 9" pickup arm with magnetic anti-skating, steel-tipped vertical bearings housed in zirconium with rubber damping (a principle similar to the Incabloc shock protection system used in watches), and ABEC7 ball bearing horizontal bearings — a pickup arm usually found on products several price categories higher. Design

Roundtable S uses top-spec components: a polished high-carbon tool steel bearing for long life and friction-free performance, an inert chassis and suspension system, and a high-quality pickup arm typically found on turntables several price categories higher. The platter is finely machined high-density MDF for high mass and low resonance, paired with a plinth of similarly bulky, low-resonance material, and the feet form part of the overall isolation system.
