The Vertex Diamond
At the core of the MC Vertex is a newly developed diamond with an advanced line-contact geometry, introduced as the Vertex diamond, a new reference in Ortofon diamond technology. It combines a finely optimized 4 μm scanning radius with an exceptionally large 110 μm contact radius, tracing fine groove structures with high precision while distributing contact forces more effectively across the groove walls. The diamond is mounted in a solid diamond cantilever, laser-cut to extremely tight tolerances and laser-polished, forming an extremely rigid, lightweight structure for efficient energy transfer.
