The SRX XL Ethernet Cable applies Synergistic Research's SRX XL cable platform to network audio streaming, designed to isolate a system's audio signal from the electromagnetic contamination generated by routers, modems, and network switches. It uses a new UEF compound in its matrix shielding and refined pure silver conductor geometries intended to maintain packet integrity and timing accuracy over longer cable runs. It's built on the same extended-duration high-voltage conditioning process as the rest of the SRX XL line, and is designed to pair with a network switch such as Synergistic Research's Ethernet Switch UEF Mk II. Its shield can be star-grounded to a Synergistic Research Ground Block or Active Ground Block (sold separately) for a further reduction in noise floor. Yes — it's a standard Ethernet cable in terms of compatibility, designed to pair especially well with Synergistic Research's own network gear, including the Voodoo and Quark servers.

Do I need a Ground Block to use this cable?
No, grounding is optional. The cable works fully on its own; connecting the shield to a Ground Block or Active Ground Block is an additional upgrade path.

Should I use Gold or Silver tuning modules?
