The TEAC AP701B is a fully balanced, dual mono stereo power amplifier from the Reference 700 Series, built around two proprietary Hypex Ncore power amplifier modules calibrated specifically for TEAC. From input to output, a complete dual mono structure with independent left and right high-capacity toroidal power transformers and discrete buffer amplifiers keeps the channels fully separated, magnifying the natural dynamism of the signal and drawing out the full performance of your speakers. Key Features
Two Hypex Ncore modules deliver high output with excellent efficiency, driving speakers cleanly from delicate pianissimo to forceful fortissimo. The complete dual mono layout achieves outstanding channel separation for a wide, three-dimensional soundstage. A 3mm-thick metal chassis with suspension joints and TEAC pin-point feet controls vibration, while a carefully engineered ventilation system and bottom-mounted modules allow a fan-free, low-noise design. Large linked VU meters, four dimmer levels, two sensitivity settings, bi-amp switching, and a 12V trigger in and through round out the feature set.
