It uses a UEF Compound and Long Duration High Voltage Conditioning Process first developed for Synergistic Research's flagship SRX cable loom. Included Gold and Purple Carbon Tuning Discs let you custom-voice the cable to your system. Available in RCA or XLR, and upgradeable to SR XLR high-purity silver connectors. Is this the same as the Foundation SX REL Spec Subwoofer Cable?
No. This is the standard RCA/XLR subwoofer cable for connecting a preamp's subwoofer output to a standard subwoofer input. Synergistic Research also makes a Foundation SX REL Spec Subwoofer Cable built specifically for REL subwoofers' proprietary Speakon connection, sold separately.

What's the difference between RCA and XLR versions?
RCA uses 2x Silver Air String conductors; XLR uses 4x Silver Air String conductors, terminated with Neutrik XLR connectors. Choose whichever matches your preamp's subwoofer output.
