Designed for precise timing and low distortion, the BASIK SUB blends effortlessly into both stereo and surround systems, delivering clean, controlled low frequencies that enhance every detail without overpowering the rest of your sound.

Powerful Room-Filling Bass

The 8-inch down-firing long-stroke woofer ensures wide dispersion, easy placement, and minimal localisation, so you feel the bass without hearing where it comes from. The result is deeper, cleaner, more detailed low frequencies that fill the room evenly and enhance every listening moment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the DALI BASIK SUB?
A: It's a compact powered subwoofer with an 8-inch down-firing long-stroke woofer and a 170W RMS amplifier, designed to add deep, controlled bass to compact stereo and surround speaker systems.

Q: How does it connect?
A: Via two RCA unbalanced (stereo) line inputs and one RCA unbalanced LFE (mono) input, so it works with both stereo amplifiers and home-theater receivers.

Q: How deep does it go?
A: Frequency range is 33–120 Hz on the line input and 33–200 Hz on the LFE input, with an adjustable crossover of 40–120 Hz and up to 108 dB maximum SPL.

Q: Is it good for both music and movies?
A: Yes. Its time-coherent, low-distortion design integrates naturally with stereo systems for music and surround systems for movies, adding scale and impact without overpowering the mix.

Q: Why a down-firing woofer?
A: The down-firing 8-inch long-stroke driver spreads bass evenly around the room and minimises localisation, giving you flexible placement and bass you feel rather than pinpoint.

A: Five colours: Solid Black, Solid White, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue.

Q: Where can I buy the DALI BASIK SUB in Canada?
A: It's available at Vinyl Sound, an authorized DALI dealer in Canada, with Canada-wide shipping and warranty support.
