Network Router UEF is a dedicated router built specifically to improve your audio system's sound, rather than sharing duty as your household's general internet router. It uses an award-winning linear power supply adapted from the Limited Production Galileo PowerCell, a patented Electromagnetic Cell to condition both incoming AC and the outgoing digital signal, and a Dual Frequency ULF generator (technology developed for the FEQ Carbon) that actively shields and conditions the unit with harmonics of the Earth's Schumann Resonance. The active circuit sits in a chassis machined from a solid billet of aircraft aluminum with a carbon fiber lid for resonance control, voiced with a custom Carbon Fiber Tuning Disc affixed to the circuit. Ships standard with a Pink Fuse and a 5ft Foundation SX 12 AWG Power Cord. Important: No Built-In WiFi

Network Router UEF does not include internal WiFi functionality — this is a deliberate design choice to keep WiFi signal isolated from the router for optimal performance. Your home's WiFi network will not be visible to any component plugged into it. If you need wireless control of a DAC or streamer from a phone or tablet, you'll need a separate Wireless Access Point (not a WiFi router) connected to the Network Router UEF, set up with a different SSID than your existing home network. Synergistic Research has tested a range of access points and found little difference in performance between reputable models.

While the Network Router UEF can connect components directly, the Router and Switch perform different functions — the router isolates your audio network, while the switch regenerates and duplicates the signal the router generates.

Is it difficult to install?
No, it's designed to be plug-and-play: connect your existing modem/router/switch to the "IN" port, connect your switch (recommended) or components to the router, and add a Wireless Access Point if WiFi control is needed.
