The PowerCell 8 SX is an 8-outlet AC power conditioner that brings Synergistic Research's flagship-level technology into a compact chassis machined from aircraft aluminum and carbon fibre. It uses the same EM Cell power supply platform found in the Galileo SX PowerCell, and carries over the redesigned electromagnetic cell first developed for the upcoming 20-outlet SRX PowerCell — giving it twice the EM Cell surface area of earlier PowerCell designs for stronger AC filtration. A dual-frequency Ultra Low-Frequency (ULF) generator lets you switch between Blue (voiced for acoustic instruments, vocals, and smaller-scale performances) and Red (voiced for large-scale and electronic music) settings to match your system and listening preference. Ships with a 5-foot Foundation SX 10 AWG power cable, with additional Foundation and Atmosphere-series cable upgrades available.
