New 730g die-cast aluminium platter

The E1.2 replaces the ABS polymer platter of the original E1 with a newly designed 730g die-cast aluminium main platter, an ideal anti-resonant platform for your vinyl. Each platter is reworked and precision-balanced in an extra step for even, stable rotation. The added mass maintains consistent speed and minimises unwanted vibration and resonance, letting the stylus track with greater accuracy for improved rotational stability and acoustic performance.

Premium pre-fitted Pick it MM E cartridge

The cartridge is one of the most sonically critical parts of a turntable, turning the record's grooves into an electrical signal. The pre-fitted Pick it MM E uses a low-mass system built around a miniature neodymium generator magnet; the lower inertia clearly improves tracking accuracy. Its conical diamond tip delivers a warm, smooth sound with low background noise, and the highly damped ABS body reduces vibration-induced colouration to a vanishing level.

Precision tonearm and craftsmanship

The 8.6-inch aluminium tonearm is expertly adjusted at the factory and ready to play with no tools or guesswork. A heavy-mass gimbal design with a zero-play precision bearing system gives solid tracking and smooth, stable movement, while a carbon-reinforced, super-stiff headshell reduces vibration and an oversized-diameter counterweight placed closer to the moving parts improves balance, detail, and bass. The plinth is CNC-machined from rigid composite fibre with no hollow spaces inside for a solid, resonance-resistant foundation, finished in high-gloss black or walnut.
